Women's Soccer v Northern Illinois - Aug. 18

The women's soccer season kicks off on August 18 against the Northern Illinois Huskies at John MacKenzie Alumni Field in Macomb. The Leathernecks return a multitude of experience for the 2017 roster, with 10 of its 11 starters from last season returning.

Veterans/Service Members Meet & Greet - Aug. 30

The Veterans Resource Center is sponsoring a Meet & Greet from 4-6 p.m. for all new and returning veterans and service members. Join us so you can meet new veterans/service members and say hello to those who are returning from a summer break. Music, bags, and free food and drink will be available.

Conversation Partners: Volunteer Now!

Conversation Partners is a program that pairs international students and domestic students for conversational purposes, and provides a wonderful cross-cultural sharing opportunity that allows participants a chance to expand their horizons, and learn more about different cultures, customs and lifestyles.

4-Year Scholarships Available to Qualified Students

WIU wants to reward you for your academic ability in high school by offering 4-year scholarships towards the cost of attendance. New freshmen who submit all application materials for admission are automatically considered, so apply today!

University Technology changed the University’s wireless networks this summer. All users of WIU's wireless network must configure their wireless devices to properly reconnect to Wi-Fi on the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses.

Western Illinois University invites you to join us in celebrating one of our most historic cultural areas on campus. We are seeking your support to complete a new park area on the site of the original Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center.

Mascot Memorial Plaza - Celebrate a Campus Tradition

The Mascot Memorial Project is seeking donations to complete a new plaza in honor of WIU’s live English bulldog mascot, Colonel Rock. The new space will adorn a memorial wall featuring WIU’s past bulldog mascots, as well as displaying a timeline history of the live mascot program.
